Ayah : 262

Those who spend their wealth in the way of AllŒh and then do not follow up what they have spent with reminders [of it] or [other] injury will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

Ayah : 263

Kind speech and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. And AllŒh is Free of need and Forbearing.

Ayah : 264

O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders [of it] or injury as does one who spends his wealth [only] to be seen by the people and does not believe in AllŒh and the Last Day. His example is like that of a [large] smooth stone upon which is dust and is hit by a downpour that leaves it bare. They are unable [to keep] anything of what they have earned. And AllŒh does not guide the disbelieving people.

Surah: ĀLI ‘IMRĀN

Ayah : 111

They will not harm you except for [some] annoyance. And if they fight you, they will show you their backs [i.e., retreat]; then they will not be aided.

Surah: ĀLI ‘IMRĀN

Ayah : 159

So by mercy from AllŒh, [O Muúammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon AllŒh. Indeed, AllŒh loves those who rely [upon Him].

Surah: ĀLI ‘IMRĀN

Ayah : 186

You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with AllŒh much abuse. But if you are patient and fear AllŒh indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of resolve.

Ayah : 65

And if you ask them, they will surely say, "We were only conversing and playing." Say, "Is it AllŒh and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?"

Ayah : 79

Those who criticize the contributors among the believers concerning [their] charities and [criticize] the ones who find nothing [to spend] except their effort, so they ridicule them AllŒh will ridicule them, and they will have a painful punishment.

Surah: AL‑ISRĀ’

Ayah : 53

And tell My servants to say that which is best. Indeed, Satan induces [dissension] among them. Indeed Satan is ever, to mankind, a clear enemy.

Ayah : 109

Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.'

Ayah : 110

But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them.

Ayah : 111

Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance that they are the attainers [of success]."

Surah: AL‑AḤZĀB

Ayah : 58

And those who harm believing men and believing women for [something] other than what they have earned [i.e., deserved] have certainly borne upon themselves a slander and manifest sin.

Surah: AL‑AḤZĀB

Ayah : 69

O you who have believed, be not like those who abused Moses; then AllŒh cleared him of what they said. And he, in the sight of AllŒh, was distinguished.

Surah: AZ-ZUMAR

Ayah : 56

Lest a soul should say,[1] "Oh, [how great is] my regret over what I neglected in regard to AllŒh and that I was among the mockers."

1- On the Day of Resurrection.

Ayah : 11

O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name [i.e., mention] of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

Ayah : 29

Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.

Ayah : 30

And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances.

Ayah : 31

And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting.

Ayah : 32

And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost."

Ayah : 33

But they had not been sent as guardians over them.

Ayah : 34

So Today[1] those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers,

1- On the Day of Judgement.

Ayah : 1

Woe to every scorner and mocker
