Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 5

فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أَعۡطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ

As for he who gives and fears AllŒh



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 6

وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ

And believes in the best [reward],



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 7

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ

We will ease him toward ease.



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 8

وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ

But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 9

وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ

And denies the best [reward],



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 10

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلۡعُسۡرَىٰ

We will ease him toward difficulty.



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 11

وَمَا يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ

And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?[1]


1- i.e., when he dies or is destroyed. It can also mean when he falls into the Hellfire.


Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 12

إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا لَلۡهُدَىٰ

Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance.



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 13

وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلۡأٓخِرَةَ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ

And indeed, to us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life].



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 14

فَأَنذَرۡتُكُمۡ نَارٗا تَلَظَّىٰ

So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing.



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 15

لَا يَصۡلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى

None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 16

ٱلَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ

Who had denied and turned away.



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 17

وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَتۡقَى

But the righteous one will avoid it



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 18

ٱلَّذِي يُؤۡتِي مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ

[He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 19

وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعۡمَةٖ تُجۡزَىٰٓ

And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded[1]


1- i.e., without intending reciprocation for some benefit to himself.


Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 20

إِلَّا ٱبۡتِغَآءَ وَجۡهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

But only seeking the face [i.e., acceptance] of his Lord, Most High.



Surata: AL‑LAYL 

O versículo : 21

وَلَسَوۡفَ يَرۡضَىٰ

And he is going to be satisfied.



Surata: AḎH-ḎHUḤĀ 

O versículo : 1

وَٱلضُّحَىٰ

By the morning brightness



Surata: AḎH-ḎHUḤĀ 

O versículo : 2

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ

And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,[1]


1- And becomes still.


Surata: AḎH-ḎHUḤĀ 

O versículo : 3

مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ

Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muúammad], nor has He detested [you].



Surata: AḎH-ḎHUḤĀ 

O versículo : 4

وَلَلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].



Surata: AḎH-ḎHUḤĀ 

O versículo : 5

وَلَسَوۡفَ يُعۡطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضَىٰٓ

And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.



Surata: AḎH-ḎHUḤĀ 

O versículo : 6

أَلَمۡ يَجِدۡكَ يَتِيمٗا فَـَٔاوَىٰ

Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?



Surata: AḎH-ḎHUḤĀ 

O versículo : 7

وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلّٗا فَهَدَىٰ

And He found you lost and guided [you],



Surata: AḎH-ḎHUḤĀ 

O versículo : 8

وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلٗا فَأَغۡنَىٰ

And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.



Surata: AḎH-ḎHUḤĀ 

O versículo : 9

فَأَمَّا ٱلۡيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقۡهَرۡ

So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].



Surata: AḎH-ḎHUḤĀ 

O versículo : 10

وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنۡهَرۡ

And as for the petitioner,[1] do not repel [him].


1- Anyone who seeks aid or knowledge.


Surata: AḎH-ḎHUḤĀ 

O versículo : 11

وَأَمَّا بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثۡ

But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].



Surata: ASH-SHARḤ 

O versículo : 1

أَلَمۡ نَشۡرَحۡ لَكَ صَدۡرَكَ

Did We not expand for you, [O Muúammad], your breast?[1]


1- i.e., enlighten, assure and gladden your heart with guidance.


Surata: ASH-SHARḤ 

O versículo : 2

وَوَضَعۡنَا عَنكَ وِزۡرَكَ

And We removed from you your burden[1]


1- By forgiving any errors which you may have committed previously or might commit consequently. "Burden" can also refer to the anxiety experienced by the Prophet () at the beginning of his mission.
