Surata: AL‑BAQARAH

O versículo : 110

And establish prayer and give zakŒh, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves you will find it with AllŒh. Indeed AllŒh, of what you do, is Seeing.

Surata: AL‑BAQARAH

O versículo : 184

[Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] then an equal number of other days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers good [i.e., excess] it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew.

Surata: AL‑BAQARAH

O versículo : 195

And spend in the way of AllŒh and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, AllŒh loves the doers of good.

Surata: AL‑BAQARAH

O versículo : 215

They ask you, [O Muúammad], what they should spend. Say, "Whatever you spend of good is [to be] for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveler. And whatever you do of good indeed, AllŒh is Knowing of it."

Surata: AL‑BAQARAH

O versículo : 269

He gives wisdom[1] to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding.

1- The knowledge and understanding of the religion and of the QurÕŒn.

Surata: AL‑BAQARAH

O versículo : 272

Not upon you, [O Muúammad], is [responsibility for] their guidance, but AllŒh guides whom He wills. And whatever good you [believers] spend is for yourselves, and you do not spend except seeking the face [i.e., approval] of AllŒh. And whatever you spend of good[1] it will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.

1- i.e., wealth, property, resources, time, effort, etc.

Surata: AL‑BAQARAH

O versículo : 273

[Charity is] for the poor who have been restricted for the cause of AllŒh, unable to move about in the land. An ignorant [person] would think them self-sufficient because of their restraint, but you will know them by their [characteristic] sign. They do not ask people persistently [or at all]. And whatever you spend of good indeed, AllŒh is Knowing of it.

Surata: ĀLI ‘IMRĀN

O versículo : 104

And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong,[1] and those will be the successful.

1- According to the laws of AllŒh.

Surata: ĀLI ‘IMRĀN

O versículo : 114

They believe in AllŒh and the Last Day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and hasten to good deeds. And those are among the righteous.

Surata: ĀLI ‘IMRĀN

O versículo : 115

And whatever good they do never will it be denied them. And AllŒh is Knowing of the righteous.

Surata: AN-NISĀ’

O versículo : 36

Worship AllŒh and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side,[1] the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, AllŒh does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful,

1- i.e., those whose acquaintance you have made. Also interpreted as the wife.

Surata: HŪD

O versículo : 114

And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember.

Surata: IBRĀHEEM

O versículo : 24

Have you not considered how AllŒh presents an example, [making] a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches [high] in the sky?

Surata: IBRĀHEEM

O versículo : 25

It produces its fruit all the time, by permission of its Lord. And AllŒh presents examples for the people that perhaps they will be reminded.

Surata: AN-NAḤL

O versículo : 90

Indeed, AllŒh orders justice and good conduct and giving [help] to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.

Surata: AN-NAḤL

O versículo : 125

Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided.

Surata: AL‑ḤAJJ

O versículo : 77

O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good that you may succeed.

Surata: AN-NŪR

O versículo : 26

Evil words are for evil men, and evil men are [subjected] to evil words. And good words are for good men, and good men are [an object] of good words.[1] Those [good people] are declared innocent of what they [i.e., slanderers] say. For them is forgiveness and noble provision.

1- Another accepted interpretation is "Evil women are for evil men, and evil men are for evil women. And good women are for good men, and good men are for good women."

Surata: FĀṬIR

O versículo : 10

Whoever desires honor [through power] then to AllŒh belongs all honor.[1] To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it.[2] But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those it will perish.

1- See footnote to 4:139.
2- For acceptance by AllŒh, meaning that righteous deeds are confirmation and proof of what is uttered by the tongue.

Surata: FUṢṢILAT

O versículo : 33

And who is better in speech than one who invites to AllŒh and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims."

Surata: AL‑MUZZAMMIL

O versículo : 20

Indeed, your Lord knows, [O Muúammad], that you stand [in prayer] almost two thirds of the night or half of it or a third of it, and [so do] a group of those with you. And AllŒh determines [the extent of] the night and the day. He has known that you [Muslims] will not be able to do it[1] and has turned to you in forgiveness, so recite what is easy [for you] of the QurÕŒn. He has known that there will be among you those who are ill and others traveling throughout the land seeking [something] of the bounty of AllŒh and others fighting for the cause of AllŒh. So recite what is easy from it and establish prayer and give zakŒh and loan AllŒh a goodly loan.[2] And whatever good you put forward for yourselves you will find it with AllŒh. It is better and greater in reward. And seek forgiveness of AllŒh. Indeed, AllŒh is Forgiving and Merciful.

1- AllŒh has known that if they were to continue in such long periods of worship each night, the people would be caused much hardship.
2- In the form of charities and contributions to His cause.

Surata: AZ-ZALZALAH

O versículo : 7

So whoever does an atom's weight[1] of good will see it,

1- Or "the weight of a small ant."
