Surata: AṢ-ṢĀFFĀT 

O versículo : 46

بَيۡضَآءَ لَذَّةٖ لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ

White and delicious to the drinkers;



Surata: AṢ-ṢĀFFĀT 

O versículo : 47

لَا فِيهَا غَوۡلٞ وَلَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا يُنزَفُونَ

No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated.



Surata: AṢ-ṢĀFFĀT 

O versículo : 48

وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ عِينٞ

And with them will be women limiting [their] glances,[1] with large, [beautiful] eyes,


1- i.e., chaste and modest, looking only at their mates.


Surata: AṢ-ṢĀFFĀT 

O versículo : 49

كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيۡضٞ مَّكۡنُونٞ

As if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected.



Surata: AZ-ZUKHRUF 

O versículo : 71

يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِصِحَافٖ مِّن ذَهَبٖ وَأَكۡوَابٖۖ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشۡتَهِيهِ ٱلۡأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ ٱلۡأَعۡيُنُۖ وَأَنتُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

Circulated among them will be plates and vessels of gold. And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally.



Surata: AZ-ZUKHRUF 

O versículo : 72

وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِيٓ أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

And that is Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used to do.



Surata: AZ-ZUKHRUF 

O versículo : 73

لَكُمۡ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ كَثِيرَةٞ مِّنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ

For you therein is much fruit[1] from which you will eat.


1- Meaning everything delicious.


Surata: AD-DUKHĀN 

O versículo : 51

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي مَقَامٍ أَمِينٖ

Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place:



Surata: AD-DUKHĀN 

O versículo : 52

فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ وَعُيُونٖ

Within gardens and springs,



Surata: AD-DUKHĀN 

O versículo : 53

يَلۡبَسُونَ مِن سُندُسٖ وَإِسۡتَبۡرَقٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ

Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other.



Surata: AD-DUKHĀN 

O versículo : 54

كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجۡنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٖ

Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes.



Surata: AD-DUKHĀN 

O versículo : 55

يَدۡعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٍ ءَامِنِينَ

They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit safe and secure.



Surata: MUḤAMMAD 

O versículo : 15

مَّثَلُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِي وُعِدَ ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۖ فِيهَآ أَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّن مَّآءٍ غَيۡرِ ءَاسِنٖ وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّن لَّبَنٖ لَّمۡ يَتَغَيَّرۡ طَعۡمُهُۥ وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّنۡ خَمۡرٖ لَّذَّةٖ لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّنۡ عَسَلٖ مُّصَفّٗىۖ وَلَهُمۡ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ وَمَغۡفِرَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡۖ كَمَنۡ هُوَ خَٰلِدٞ فِي ٱلنَّارِ وَسُقُواْ مَآءً حَمِيمٗا فَقَطَّعَ أَمۡعَآءَهُمۡ

Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered,[1] rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord... [Are its inhabitants] like those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?


1- In taste or smell, neither stagnant nor polluted.


Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 46

وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ

But for he who has feared the position of his Lord[1] are two gardens


1- An alternative meaning is "the standing [for account] before his Lord."


Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 47

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 48

ذَوَاتَآ أَفۡنَانٖ

Having [spreading] branches.



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 49

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 50

فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ تَجۡرِيَانِ

In both of them are two springs, flowing.



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 51

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 52

فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٖ زَوۡجَانِ

In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds.



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 53

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 54

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقٖۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ دَانٖ

[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low.



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 55

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 56

فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ

In them are women limiting [their] glances,[1] untouched[2] before them by man or jinn¥


1- To their own mates, i.e., being chaste and modest.
2- Literally, they have not been caused to bleed by loss of virginity.


Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 57

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 58

كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ

As if they were rubies and coral.[1]


1- In purity, color and beauty.


Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 59

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 60

هَلۡ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنُ

Is the reward for good [anything] but good?



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 61

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?



Surata: AR-RAḤMĀN 

O versículo : 62

وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ

And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens
