Capítulo: AL‑BAQARAH

Verso : 74

Then your hearts became hardened after that, being like stones or even harder. For indeed, there are stones from which rivers burst forth, and there are some of them that split open and water comes out, and there are some of them that fall down for fear of AllŒh. And AllŒh is not unaware of what you do.

Capítulo: AL‑BAQARAH

Verso : 110

And establish prayer and give zakŒh, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves you will find it with AllŒh. Indeed AllŒh, of what you do, is Seeing.

Capítulo: AL‑BAQARAH

Verso : 139

Say, [O Muúammad], "Do you argue with us about AllŒh while He is our Lord and your Lord? For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. And we are sincere [in deed and intention] to Him."

Capítulo: AL‑BAQARAH

Verso : 197

îajj is [during] well-known months,[1] so whoever has made úajj obligatory upon himself therein [by entering the state of iúrŒm], there is [to be for him] no sexual relations and no disobedience and no disputing during úajj. And whatever good you do AllŒh knows it. And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is fear of AllŒh. And fear Me, O you of understanding.

1- See previous footnote.

Capítulo: AL‑BAQARAH

Verso : 215

They ask you, [O Muúammad], what they should spend. Say, "Whatever you spend of good is [to be] for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveler. And whatever you do of good indeed, AllŒh is Knowing of it."

Capítulo: AL‑BAQARAH

Verso : 234

And those who are taken in death among you and leave wives behind they, [the wives, shall] wait four months and ten [days]. And when they have fulfilled their term, then there is no blame upon you for what they do with themselves in an acceptable manner.[1] And AllŒh is [fully] Aware of what you do.

1- They may remarry if they wish.

Capítulo: ĀLI ‘IMRĀN

Verso : 30

The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present [before it] and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance. And AllŒh warns you of Himself, and AllŒh is Kind to [His] servants."

Capítulo: ĀLI ‘IMRĀN

Verso : 195

And their Lord responded to them, "Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from AllŒh, and AllŒh has with Him the best reward."

Capítulo: AN-NISĀ’

Verso : 110

And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of AllŒh will find AllŒh Forgiving and Merciful.

Capítulo: AN-NISĀ’

Verso : 111

And whoever earns [i.e., commits] a sin only earns it against himself. And AllŒh is ever Knowing and Wise.

Capítulo: AN-NISĀ’

Verso : 112

But whoever earns an offense or a sin and then blames it on an innocent [person] has taken upon himself a slander and manifest sin.

Capítulo: AN-NISĀ’

Verso : 123

It [i.e., Paradise] is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides AllŒh a protector or a helper.

Capítulo: AN-NISĀ’

Verso : 124

And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed.

Capítulo: AN-NISĀ’

Verso : 127

And they request from you, [O Muúammad], a [legal] ruling concerning women. Say, "AllŒh gives you a ruling about them and [about] what has been recited to you in the Book concerning the orphan girls to whom you do not give what is decreed for them[1] and [yet] you desire to marry them and concerning the oppressed among children and that you maintain for orphans [their rights] in justice." And whatever you do of good indeed, AllŒh is ever Knowing of it.

1- i.e., their rights, in general, and their mahr, specifically.

Capítulo: AL‑MĀ’IDAH

Verso : 105

O you who have believed, upon you is [responsibility for] yourselves. Those who have gone astray will not harm you when you have been guided. To AllŒh is your return all together; then He will inform you of what you used to do.

Capítulo: AL‑AN‘ĀM

Verso : 54

And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, "Peace be upon you. Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy: that any of you who does wrong out of ignorance and then repents after that and corrects himself indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful."

Capítulo: AL‑AN‘ĀM

Verso : 60

And it is He who takes your souls by night[1] and knows what you have committed by day. Then He revives you therein [i.e., by day] that a specified term[2] may be fulfilled. Then to Him will be your return; then He will inform you about what you used to do.

1- i.e., when you sleep.
2- One's decreed life span.

Capítulo: AL‑AN‘ĀM

Verso : 88

That is the guidance of AllŒh by which He guides whomever He wills of His servants. But if they had associated others with AllŒh, then worthless for them would be whatever they were doing.

Capítulo: AL‑AN‘ĀM

Verso : 108

And do not insult those they invoke other than AllŒh, lest they insult AllŒh in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do.

Capítulo: AL‑AN‘ĀM

Verso : 164

Say, "Is it other than AllŒh I should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things? And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ."

Capítulo: AL‑A‘RĀF

Verso : 153

But those who committed misdeeds and then repented after them and believed indeed your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful.

Capítulo: AT-TAWBAH

Verso : 94

They will make excuses to you when you have returned to them. Say, "Make no excuse never will we believe you. AllŒh has already informed us of your news [i.e., affair]. And AllŒh will observe your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger; then you will be taken back to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed,[1] and He will inform you of what you used to do."

1- See footnotes to 6:73.

Capítulo: AT-TAWBAH

Verso : 105

And say, "Do [as you will], for AllŒh will see your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger and the believers. And you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do."

Capítulo: AT-TAWBAH

Verso : 120

It was not [proper] for the people of Mad¥nah and those surrounding them of the bedouins that they remain behind after [the departure of] the Messenger of AllŒh or that they prefer themselves over his self.[1] That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue or hunger in the cause of AllŒh, nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that it is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, AllŒh does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good.

1- In times of hardship. Rather, they should have been willing to endure with the Prophet () whatever was necessary for IslŒm.

Capítulo: YŪNUS

Verso : 41

And if they deny you, [O Muúammad], then say, "For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do."

Capítulo: YŪNUS

Verso : 61

And, [O Muúammad], you are not [engaged] in any matter and do not recite any of the QurÕŒn and you [people] do not do any deed except that We are witness over you when you are involved in it. And not absent from your Lord is any [part] of an atom's weight[1] within the earth or within the heaven or [anything] smaller than that or greater but that it is in a clear register.

1- Or "the weight of a small ant."

Capítulo: IBRĀHEEM

Verso : 18

The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day; they are unable [to keep] from what they earned a [single] thing. That is what is extreme error.

Capítulo: IBRĀHEEM

Verso : 42

And never think that AllŒh is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them [i.e., their account] for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].

Capítulo: AL‑ḤIJR

Verso : 92

So by your Lord, We will surely question them all

Capítulo: AL‑ḤIJR

Verso : 93

About what they used to do.
