Sourate: FĀṬIR 

Verset : 29

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتۡلُونَ كِتَٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ سِرّٗا وَعَلَانِيَةٗ يَرۡجُونَ تِجَٰرَةٗ لَّن تَبُورَ

Indeed, those who recite the Book of AllŒh and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a transaction [i.e., profit] that will never perish



Sourate: FĀṬIR 

Verset : 30

لِيُوَفِّيَهُمۡ أُجُورَهُمۡ وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ غَفُورٞ شَكُورٞ

That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative.[1]


1- i.e., He gives much in return for little and multiplies rewards.


Sourate: AL‑ḤADEED 

Verset : 7

ءَامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَأَنفِقُواْ مِمَّا جَعَلَكُم مُّسۡتَخۡلَفِينَ فِيهِۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنكُمۡ وَأَنفَقُواْ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرٞ كَبِيرٞ

Believe in AllŒh and His Messenger and spend out of that in which He has made you successive inheritors. For those who have believed among you and spent,[1] there will be a great reward.


1- In ways pleasing to AllŒh.


Sourate: AL‑ḤADEED 

Verset : 18

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَٱلۡمُصَّدِّقَٰتِ وَأَقۡرَضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنٗا يُضَٰعَفُ لَهُمۡ وَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٞ كَرِيمٞ

Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned AllŒh a goodly loan it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.



Sourate: AL‑MUJĀDILAH 

Verset : 12

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نَٰجَيۡتُمُ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَقَدِّمُواْ بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡ نَجۡوَىٰكُمۡ صَدَقَةٗۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ وَأَطۡهَرُۚ فَإِن لَّمۡ تَجِدُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ

O you who have believed, when you [wish to] privately consult the Messenger, present before your consultation a charity. That is better for you and purer. But if you find not [the means] then indeed, AllŒh is Forgiving and Merciful.



Sourate: AL‑MUJĀDILAH 

Verset : 13

ءَأَشۡفَقۡتُمۡ أَن تُقَدِّمُواْ بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡ نَجۡوَىٰكُمۡ صَدَقَٰتٖۚ فَإِذۡ لَمۡ تَفۡعَلُواْ وَتَابَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ

Have you feared to present before your consultation charities? Then when you do not and AllŒh has forgiven you, then [at least] establish prayer and give zakŒh and obey AllŒh and His Messenger. And AllŒh is Aware of what you do.



Sourate: AL‑MUNĀFIQŪN 

Verset : 10

وَأَنفِقُواْ مِن مَّا رَزَقۡنَٰكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَآ أَخَّرۡتَنِيٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ

And spend [in the way of AllŒh] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be of the righteous."



Sourate: AL‑INSĀN 

Verset : 8

وَيُطۡعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسۡكِينٗا وَيَتِيمٗا وَأَسِيرًا

And they give food in spite of love for it[1] to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,


1- The meaning here may also be "out of love for Him," i.e., AllŒh (subúŒnahu wa taÔŒlŒ).


Sourate: AL‑INSĀN 

Verset : 9

إِنَّمَا نُطۡعِمُكُمۡ لِوَجۡهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمۡ جَزَآءٗ وَلَا شُكُورًا

[Saying], "We feed you only for the face [i.e., approval] of AllŒh. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.



Sourate: AL‑BALAD 

Verset : 13

فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ

It is the freeing of a slave



Sourate: AL‑BALAD 

Verset : 14

أَوۡ إِطۡعَٰمٞ فِي يَوۡمٖ ذِي مَسۡغَبَةٖ

Or feeding on a day of severe hunger
