Matters to avoid as Warned
by the Quran

Then, do those who have planned evil deeds feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that the punishment will not come upon them from where they do not perceive? Or that He would not seize them during their [usual] activity, and they could not cause failure [i.e., escape from Him]? Or that He would not seize them gradually [in a state of dread]? But indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. (AN-NAḤL(45-47

The punishment of Allah may come from where a person least expects it, so let us be cautious in our actions and words.

Then, did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them at night while they were asleep? Or did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they were at play? Then, did they feel secure from the plan of Allah? But no one feels secure from the plan of Allah except the losing people.Has it not become clear to those who inherited the earth after its [previous] people that if We willed, We could afflict them for their sins? But We seal over their hearts so they do not hear. [AL-A‘R F 97 : 100]

When people become heedless of Allah, punishment may befall them while they are in a state of oblivion. Let our hearts always be present with Allah.
