The culture of dialogue in the Quran
The Quran teaches us that dialogue requires gentleness and kindness. Let us interact with others with tenderness and compassion, and let us spread peace through our words and actions
The culture of dialogue is important in Islam and is clearly manifested in the Holy Quran. Allah, the Almighty, calls Muslims to understand, dialogue, and cooperate with others in good and ethical ways. It teaches us how to deal with others transparently and respectfully, and how to defend our religion and clarify its truths in a wise and effective manner
We can also benefit from the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in dealing with others through dialogue and mercy. The Prophet (peace be upon him) dealt with people with high morals and wisdom. Allah said about him in the Holy Quran
"And indeed, you are of a great moral character." (Al-Qalam: 4)

Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided.
"Let us draw inspiration from the culture of dialogue in the Noble Quran, and learn the art of graceful interaction and mutual respect with others. Allah, the Exalted, says..."
And of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening book [from Him],
Dialogue with argument and evidence are among the pillars of dialogue in the Quran
In the Quranic culture of dialogue, we find encouragement to use compelling arguments and evidences in our discussions, in order to build our arguments on solid foundations

Engaging in good debate with the People of the Book is one of the characteristics of dialogue in the Quran
Let us learn from the Quran how to interact in the best manner with the People of the Book and non-Muslims, and let us build bridges of understanding and mutual respect. Allah, the Exalted, says..
Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you – that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]."
World Teachers' Day
October 5th
The Quran teaches us.
On World Teachers' Day, we celebrate and honor those who illuminate the paths of knowledge and learning with their guidance. From an Islamic perspective, the teacher holds a great stature and plays an important role in building the community and guiding generations towards goodness. Let us draw inspiration from the Holy Quran and authentic prophetic traditions to express our appreciation and gratitude to teachers.
Allah said:
{Only those fear Allah, from among His servants, who have knowledge.}
{Say, "This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who follow me. And exalted is Allah; and I am not of those who associate others with Him."}
The messenger of Allah, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"Whoever takes a path in pursuit of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise." (Sahih Muslim)
Whoever Allah intends good for, He grants him understanding of the religion." (Sahih al-Bukhari)
"Whoever teaches something to someone, he will have the reward of whoever acts upon it." (Sahih Muslim)
On this occasion, World Teachers' Day, we appreciate and value the efforts of teachers who care about educating us and guiding us towards knowledge and progress. They are the foundational pillars of societal development and advancement. We ask Allah to reward them with the best reward and to make their work accepted and blessed.
On this day, let us express our gratitude to the teachers who sacrifice their time and efforts to build an educated and knowledgeable generation
The pursuit of knowledge is one of the most important values emphasized in Islam, and teachers are the ones who help achieve this great value.
We thank every teacher who strives to spread knowledge and provide correct guidance. Let us honor them and pray that Allah accepts their efforts and rewards them with the best in this world and the hereafter. We trust that they have the ability to change lives and inspire future generations.
On this World Teachers' Day, let us pledge to be open-minded and cooperative students, appreciating the efforts of teachers and seeking to benefit to the fullest from their knowledge and experiences.
Let us always remember that teachers are symbols of giving and dedication, and it is our duty to respect and appreciate them.
Let us raise our hands in prayer for the teachers who stay awake day and night to provide education and guidance. O Allah, make their actions sincere for Your noble countenance, and grant them success and positive impact in the lives of their students.
On this World Teachers' Day, we thank Allah for the blessing of knowledge and education, and we pledge to spread knowledge and contribute in our daily lives. Let us be teachers in our words and actions, and let us be a good example for others.
