Quran Challenge

وَإِن كُنتُمۡ فِي رَيۡبٖ مِّمَّا نَزَّلۡنَا عَلَىٰ عَبۡدِنَا فَأۡتُواْ بِسُورَةٖ مِّن مِّثۡلِهِۦ وَٱدۡعُواْ شُهَدَآءَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ 23 فَإِن لَّمۡ تَفۡعَلُواْ وَلَن تَفۡعَلُواْ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِي وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلۡحِجَارَةُۖ أُعِدَّتۡ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ (البقره 24)

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down [i.e., the QurÕŒn] upon Our Servant [i.e., Prophet Muúammad (p)], then produce a s´rah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses [i.e., supporters] other than AllŒh, if you should be truthful.

But if you do not – and you will never be able to – then fear the Fire, whose fuel is people and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.

Quran ( 2 : 24 _ 23 )

أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَۚ وَلَوۡ كَانَ مِنۡ عِندِ غَيۡرِ ٱللَّهِ لَوَجَدُواْ فِيهِ ٱخۡتِلَٰفٗا كَثِيراٗ (البقرة 82)

Then do they not reflect upon the QurÕŒn?[1] If it had been from [any] other than AllŒh, they would have found within it much contradiction.

Quran ( 3 : 82 )

قُلۡ مَن يَرۡزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَمَّن يَمۡلِكُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ وَمَن يُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡحَيَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَيِّتِ وَيُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡمَيِّتَ مِنَ ٱلۡحَيِّ وَمَن يُدَبِّرُ ٱلۡأَمۡرَۚ فَسَيَقُولُونَ ٱللَّهُۚ فَقُلۡ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ 31 فَذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ فَمَاذَا بَعۡدَ ٱلۡحَقِّ إِلَّا ٱلضَّلَٰلُۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُصۡرَفُونَ 32 كَذَٰلِكَ حَقَّتۡ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ فَسَقُوٓاْ أَنَّهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ 33 (يونس)

Say, "Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges [every] matter?" They will say, "AllŒh," so say, "Then will you not fear Him?" For that is AllŒh, your Lord, the Truth. And what can be beyond truth except error? So how are you averted? Thus the word [i.e., decree] of your Lord has come into effect upon those who defiantly disobeyed – that they will not believe.

Quran ( 10 : _ 31 33)

قُلۡ هَلۡ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَبۡدَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يَبۡدَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ 34 قُلۡ هَلۡ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَهۡدِيٓ إِلَى ٱلۡحَقِّۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يَهۡدِي لِلۡحَقِّۗ أَفَمَن يَهۡدِيٓ إِلَى ٱلۡحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لَّا يَهِدِّيٓ إِلَّآ أَن يُهۡدَىٰۖ فَمَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ ( 35 يونس)

Say, "Are there of your 'partners' any who begins creation and then repeats it?" Say, "AllŒh begins creation and then repeats it, so how are you deluded?" Say, "Are there of your 'partners' any who guides to the truth?" Say, "AllŒh guides to the truth. So is He who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed or he who guides not unless he is guided? Then what is [wrong] with you – how do you judge?"

Quran ( 10 : 34 _ 35)

وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ إِلَّا ظَنًّاۚ إِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ شَيۡـًٔاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا يَفۡعَلُونَ 36 وَمَا كَانَ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ أَن يُفۡتَرَىٰ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِن تَصۡدِيقَ ٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ وَتَفۡصِيلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ 37 أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ قُلۡ فَأۡتُواْ بِسُورَةٖ مِّثۡلِهِۦ وَٱدۡعُواْ مَنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ 38 بَلۡ كَذَّبُواْ بِمَا لَمۡ يُحِيطُواْ بِعِلۡمِهِۦ وَلَمَّا يَأۡتِهِمۡ تَأۡوِيلُهُۥۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ 39 (يونس)

And most of them follow not except assumption. Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. Indeed, AllŒh is Knowing of what they do. And it was not [possible] for this QurÕŒn to be produced by other than AllŒh, but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of the [former] Scripture, about which there is no doubt,[1] from the Lord of the worlds. Or do they say [about the Prophet (p)], "He invented it?" Say, "Then bring forth a s´rah like it and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides AllŒh, if you should be truthful." Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny. Then observe how was the end of the wrongdoers.

Quran ( 10 : 36 _ 39)

أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ قُلۡ فَأۡتُواْ بِعَشۡرِ سُوَرٖ مِّثۡلِهِۦ مُفۡتَرَيَٰتٖ وَٱدۡعُواْ مَنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ 13 فَإِلَّمۡ يَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لَكُمۡ فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ بِعِلۡمِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَن لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ فَهَلۡ أَنتُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ 14 (هود)

Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then bring ten s´rahs like it that have been invented and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides AllŒh, if you should be truthful." And if they do not respond to you – then know that it [i.e., the QurÕŒn] was revealed with the knowledge of AllŒh[1] and that there is no deity except Him. Then,[2] would you [not] be Muslims?

Quran ( 11 : 13 _ 14)

قُلْ لَئِنِ اجْتَمَعَتِ الْإِنْسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى أَنْ يَأْتُوا بِمِثْلِ هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ لَا يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَوْ كَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ظَهِيرًا 88 وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ فَأَبَى أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا 89 (الإسراء)

Say, "If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this QurÕŒn, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants." And We have certainly diversified for the people in this QurÕŒn from every [kind of] example, but most of the people refused except disbelief.

Quran ( 17 : 88 _ 89)

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ضُرِبَ مَثَلٌ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ لَنْ يَخْلُقُوا ذُبَابًا وَلَوِ اجْتَمَعُوا لَهُ وَإِنْ يَسْلُبْهُمُ الذُّبَابُ شَيْئًا لَا يَسْتَنْقِذُوهُ مِنْهُ ضَعُفَ الطَّالِبُ وَالْمَطْلُوبُ (73 الحج)

O people, an example is presented, so listen to it. Indeed, those you invoke besides AllŒh will never create [as much as] a fly, even if they gathered together for it [i.e., that purpose]. And if the fly should steal from them a [tiny] thing, they could not recover it from him. Weak are the pursuer and pursued.[1]

Quran ( 22 : 73)

قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِكِتَابٍ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ هُوَ أَهْدَى مِنْهُمَا أَتَّبِعْهُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ 49 فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا لَكَ فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يَتَّبِعُونَ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنِ اتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ بِغَيْرِ هُدًى مِنَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ 50 (القصص)

Say, "Then bring a scripture from AllŒh which is more guiding than either of them that I may follow it, if you should be truthful." But if they do not respond to you – then know that they only follow their [own] desires. And who is more astray than one who follows his desire without guidance from AllŒh? Indeed, AllŒh does not guide the wrongdoing people.

Quran ( 28 : 49 – 50 )

قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ بَدَأَ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ اللَّهُ يُنْشِئُ النَّشْأَةَ الْآخِرَةَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (العنكبوت 20)

Say, [O Muúammad], "Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then AllŒh will produce the final creation [i.e., development]. Indeed AllŒh, over all things, is competent."

Quran ( 29 : 20)

عَلَى أَنْ نُبَدِّلَ أَمْثَالَكُمْ وَنُنْشِئَكُمْ فِي مَا لَا تَعْلَمُون (الواقعة 61)

In that We will change your likenesses and produce you in that [form] which you do not know.[1]

Quran ( 56 : 61)

فَسَبِّحۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ 74 فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِمَوَٰقِعِ ٱلنُّجُومِ 75 وَإِنَّهُۥ لَقَسَمٞ لَّوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عَظِيمٌ 76 إِنَّهُۥ لَقُرۡءَانٞ كَرِيمٞ 77 فِي كِتَٰبٖ مَّكۡنُونٖ 78 لَّا يَمَسُّهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُطَهَّرُونَ 79 تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ 80 أَفَبِهَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِ أَنتُم مُّدۡهِنُونَ 81 (الواقعة)

So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. Then I swear by the setting of the stars,[1] And indeed, it is an oath – if you could know – [most] great. Indeed, it is a noble QurÕŒn. In a Register well-protected;[1]. None touch it except the purified [i.e., the angels]. [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent
