Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving [help] to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.(AN-NAḤL _90)
Repentance (Tawbah) and forgiveness are two ways to attain the mercy of Allah and purify our souls. The Quran urges us to repent from our sins and seek forgiveness from Allah. Let us strive for sincere repentance and seek forgiveness to attain inner happiness and peace.
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." (AZ-ZUMAR _53)
Patience and fortitude are two central qualities in Islam. The Quran teaches us to be patient in the face of challenges and to hope for reward from Allah. Let us practice patience and fortitude in our lives and rely on Allah in all our affairs
And be patient, [O Muhammad], and your patience is not but through Allah. And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire.
On World Humanitarian Day, The Quran laid the foundation for humanity
When we talk about humanity in the Holy Quran, we find many verses and hadiths that encourage humanitarian work and emphasize its importance in building society and spreading goodness and mercy. Humanitarian work revolves around helping others, alleviating their suffering, and achieving justice and equality. On World Humanitarian Day, we celebrate the amazing efforts of humanitarian workers around the world
The Holy Quran reminds us of our duty towards others and the necessity of humanitarian work as we live in this world.
In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 177, Allah says: "Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous
." It is a verse that combines good deeds and human values that we must embody
In the noble hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "He who does not show mercy to the people, Allah will not show mercy to him" (Sahih Al-Bukhari). This hadith reminds us of the importance of mercy, compassion, and treating people with kindness and mercy. Allah values these human qualities and wants us to practice them in our daily lives
When we think about humanitarian work, we should remember that everyone deserves care and attention. We must be ready to help and support the poor, the needy, and the oppressed. The following Quranic verse in Surah Al-Balad reminds us that we are responsible for caring for and supporting others: "But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered . And that within the breasts is obtained, Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Aware." (Al-Balad: 9-10)
